PROJECTS OF THE GREEK CULTURE FOUNDATION

In realizing the purposes of the Greek Culture Foundation, the Greek Culture Society has undertaken the following projects:

v    Established the web site GreekCultureFoundation.org

v    Established the web site GreekCultureFoundation.gr

v    Established the web site SosProctos.com ( Medical Research )

v    Established an “internet radio station” by broadcasting Mousikes Notes (Musical Notes), a radio program originating at KFCF-FM, Fresno, California. Some of these programs can be found at MousikesNotes.com

v   Has purchased domains reflecting the promotion of Greek Culture.

The Society also envisions future projects as follows:

v    The creation of an Internet Library about Greek Culture and Greek History.

v    The promotion of works by authors, artists, scientists and scholars.

v    Lectures and readings and recording these events.

v    Publicizing the works by authors and poets.

v    Supporting Modern Greek Studies centers, University Chairs and associated events.

v    Create CD/DVDs and publications containing information about the Internet Library.

v    Provide books and authentic copies of art work to universities, colleges, schools, libraries, museums and community organizations.

v    Creating web sites and portals to publicize Greek culture and Hellenism.

v    Supporting existing scholarship programs available and establishing a Greek Culture Foundation program.
